John Muir, Managing Partner

John Muir is the Managing Partner of Trusted Strategies spearheading advisory services and consulting to companies seeking investment and product development expertise in the IT security sector. Mr. Muir has more than 20 years of senior management experience in private and public IT security firms including Enigma Logic and Pointsec Mobile Technologies, both of which he co-founded, and as VP Authentication Division of Secure Computing.

John's unique combination of business and security technology expertise has led to frequent speaker engagements at major security events and numerous published articles. He is noted for his research on the structure of the IT security industry, particularly in relation to authentication, encryption and mobile devices and developed security courseware for the National Center for Manufacturing Services ( NCMS).

John has a degree in International Economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Bill Bosen, Partner and Head of Research

Bill Bosen is a founding partner of Trusted Strategies overseeing research and the Trusted Strategies 500 database. Bill is a featured speaker amongst the VC community, and to companies in the Fortune 500. During his more than 18 years of experience in high tech and computer security, Bill has designed and implemented security systems used by millions of users at enterprise corporations around the world including Sony, Boeing, Citigroup, American Express, Sun Microsystems, Ericsson, Alcatel, Cisco Systems, and others.

Bill has hands on experience with everything from market research and architectural design, through coding, quality assurance, implementation, technical support, sales engineering, product engineering, marketing, and management.

Bill was with Secure Computing Corporation for several years, where he served as Vice President of Product Management for the company's firewall, user authentication, and web access control product lines. He also served as Vice President of Engineering and held numerous other positions.

Prior to his tenure at Secure Computing, Bill served as Vice President of Engineering at Enigma Logic where he led the engineering team over the SafeWord user authentication system, still a leading authentication system today.

Bill is a founding partner of the firm, and responsible for the company's research, including the "Trusted Strategies Security 500" where he evaluates and ranks the world's top security technologies, companies, and products.

Art Dunkley, Partner

Art focuses on both tactical and strategic operational components of the company. He has three decades of experience founding, managing, and investing in start up growth companies. His portfolio of companies is highly diversified in both the US and Europe, and his significant strategic and operational background is an asset to Trusted Strategies and its clients.

Art earned a BS degree from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from Harvard Business School with concentrations on finance and venture capital.
