About Trusted Strategies

Trusted Strategies LLC was founded in 2002 by John Muir and Bill Bosen. Both John and Bill had been developing IT security products since the mid 1980's, and were often frustrated by the lack of quality market information and other data and services critical to the success of their companies.

"We frequently wondered why no one was out there to help us" John recalls. "We needed market validation, product feature set confirmation, competitive analysis, go-to-market strategies, and a host of other critical data and assistance".

After a series of successful entrepreneurial experiences in the IT security industry culminating with Pointsec Mobile Technologies, John vowed his next IT security company would be one that provided security product developers with the critical information and services that were lacking in the industry. After sharing this idea with long time friend Bill Bosen who had been over product development at Secure Computing, Bill readily concurred and quickly embrassed the idea. Trusted Strategies was born.
