Trusted Strategies LLC was founded in 2002 by John Muir and Bill Bosen. Both John and Bill had been entrepreneurs in the IT security industry since the mid 1980's, and were often frustrated by the lack of quality market information and other data and services critical to the success of their companies.

"We frequently wondered why no one was out there to help us" John recalls. "We needed market validation, product feature set confirmation, competitive analysis, go-to-market strategies, product and marketing collateral, and a host of other critical data and assistance but we couldn't find anyone that really understood our specific area of focus."

After a series of successful entrepreneurial experiences in the IT security industry culminating with Pointsec Mobile Technologies, John vowed his next IT security company would be one that provided security product developers with the critical information and services that were lacking in the industry. After sharing this idea with long time friend Bill Bosen who had been over product development at Secure Computing, Bill readily concurred and quickly embraced the idea. Trusted Strategies was born.

During its 7 years of operation, Trusted Strategies has performed services for more than 50 clients ranging in size from small startups to fortune 500 enterprises that are adding IT security products to their lineups.

This, combined with our ability to perform in-depth market surveys and intelligence gathering among nearly 2,000 IT security professionals gives Trusted Strategies several unique advantages with which we serve our clients.
